“Taiwan KOM Challenge” this year takes place from the Yilan Central Cross-Island Highway branch to the highest point on Taiwan's roads, Wuling. The route is winding and treacherous, stretching from the deep valley floor to Hehuan Mountain's Wuling, covering a total of 150 kilometers. Along the way, it passes through the terraced landscapes of Nanshan, the watershed of the Lanyang River and the Dajia River at Siyuan Pass, and the Wuling Farm with its upright rock layers and the autumn red maple leaves of Lishan. The area is also home to rare and protected species like the Formosan landlocked salmon and the Taiwan fulvetta. Finally, participants will face the ultimate challenge: the "Heavenly Road" from Dayuling to Hehuan Mountain's Wuling, spanning the last 10 kilometers and ascending from sea level to an elevation of 3,275 meters....
Global Online Race will take place on November 5th at 8:00 PM Taiwan time. The route will be from Bilu Sacred Tree to Jinma Tunnel in Taiwan, and all cyclists are invited to join the global challenge online!...
