These two stages will test rider's speed of uphill. In these stages, riders are all initially in a fresh condition, so, for a good rider he can ride with more than 15 km/h speed. But, this speed will let riders pay for it in later stages if they are not that strong. Anyway, when riders have passed ShinBaiYang, they are continually uphill for 46.7 km.

From ShinBaiYang to the third feeding zone BiLui in 2139 meters altitude is an average 3.44% uphill. Compare with the former stage, it seems riders can catch their breath here. Feeding! A little relaxing! Normally, the leading group will be filtered from 500 riders in begin to less than 20 now.

4.

After BiLui to BiLui tunnel the first peak of the route in 2453 meters altitude is an average 5.81% uphill. Up here, the potential podium guys are lined up. After long distance uphill riding, riders actually are race with themselves now. Then it is a short downhill and the final test is waiting riders to prove their existence. There are 84.8 km has been ridden.

5.

The BiLui tunnel to GuanYuan gas station is a 3.16% downhill riding. This is the last breath before the final charge. It starts with a gradual rise between GuanYuan gas station and DaYuLing, than riders will face the Alamo! From DaYuLing, this is the battlefield where decide the place of riders on podium.

6.

Between DaYuLing and the finish line WuLing, there is a HeHuanShan Villa. It is 10.95% uphill to HeHuanShan Villa. After DaYuLing, the altitude is over 2520 meters that is into the danger zone of altitude illness. From now on, riders will fight to get more oxygen, and squeeze more power to face the 10% uphill after 94.9 km riding that includes 76.8 km continually uphill riding with just 5.3 km downhill in- between. In good weather day, the temperature up here is around 15 Celsius degree, if it is cloudy or rainy, it will be fewer than 10 Celsius degree.

7.

Finally, the last 1.5 km between HeHuanShan Villa and the finish line WuLing is 9.13% uphill. It is no differences at this moment if it is 9 or 10 % uphill. Pass the finish line, just like into the heaven; the test by God is over!
